Hi everyone!
You may know me from my previous blog, Portside Wonderland. You may know me from my writing. You may know me in my every day life. Or you may not know me at all.
With this blog, I'm going to strip myself bare. Not physically, of course. But I'm going to to get real, raw, and vulnerable. I'll still be sarcastic and witty. I'll still be passionate and warm. I'm just going to be a lot more honest than I ever have been.
This blog is going to focus on my life - as a wife, a mom, and a stepmom - and my writing and self-publishing journey. I'm going to talk about my struggles and my accomplishments and my goals. I'm also going to talk about the Law of Attraction, specifically from Denise Duffield-Thomas's book, Get Rich, Lucky Bitch (http://www.luckybitch.com/)
First and foremost, I'm going to list everything I want, in no particular order:
I want to make enough money from my books to stay at home with my kids and quit my job
I want to live in a 3 bedroom house with a fireplace, a laundry room, and a jacuzzi tub. I want a big backyard so the kids can play in a safe neighborhood with good schools by the beach.
I want to buy my husband a new car before November.
I want Disneyland annual passes for me and my husband.
I want to be able to take 2 vacations every year.
I want to be able to spend freely without second-guessing myself.
I want to be able to invest in my writing and my business without it affecting my family activities.
I want 2 more children - a boy and a girl, in no particular order - and I want to be pregnant by the end of this year.
These are my goals. This is what I want. This is my journey I'm prepared to take you on, if you want to come.
